Pastor Faheem Moini: A Journey from Darkness to Light

Born and raised in a cultural Muslim family in Iran, Pastor Faheem Moini life is a testament to the transformative power of Christ. At the age of 13, he left home, and by 17, fled Iran to seek refuge in Pakistan. It was in Pakistan that he encountered Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Operation Mobilization (OM) team. At the age of 20, he was rescued from the kingdom of darkness and brought into God marvellous light.
For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
(Colossians 1:13-14)
This encounter with Jesus changed everything. Filled with God love and truth, Pastor Faheem committed his life to sharing the Gospel and serving others.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Ministry in Pakistan:
A Time of Growth
God opened many doors for Pastor Faheem to serve early in his faith journey. He partnered with ministries that taught him to trust the Lord in every step:

Operation Mobilization (OM) Spreading the Gospel to the muslim

The Salvation Army Supporting individuals struggling with addiction. as a Researcher Assistant of the Drug Addiction.

The Bible Society of Pakistan, Distributing God Word across the nation.
Through these experiences, he grew as a servant of Christ, stepping into various roles with diligence and humility.

A New Beginning in Canada
In 1997, God led Pastor Faheem to Canada, where he continued his theological education at Columbia Bible College from 2001 to 2003. In 1999, he married his wife, and together they answered God call to pastoral ministry.
For over 17 years, Pastor Faheem faithfully served the Persian Christian community in Greater Vancouver as an ordained pastor through the Mennonite Brethren denomination (2001).
Be shepherds of God flock that is under your care, watching over them not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be.

Founding Wonderful Counsellor Ministry
In 2012, Pastor Faheem founded Wonderful Counsellor Ministry to serve persecuted Christians, refugees, the homeless, and individuals in crisis. Over the past 13 years, this ministry has been a beacon of God love, offering practical help, advocacy, and spiritual mentorship.
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in.
(Matthew 25:35)
One of the ministry key projects, the Turkey Refugee Project, began in Istanbul. Witnessing the immense need for spiritual mentorship and legal advocacy among Farsi-speaking refugees, Pastor Faheem launched annual discipleship conferences in Yalova, Turkey. These conferences, now in their 10th year, empower new believers to grow in their faith.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.

Ministry Beyond Borders
Pastor Faheem’s passion for outreach extends internationally. In Germany, he has advocated for refugees and persecuted Christians, presenting cases to the United Nations in Ankara, Turkey. Most recently, he connected with Farsispeaking
Persian-Israelis in Israel, identifying unmet spiritual needs.
Although current conflicts have delayed plans to serve in Israel, Pastor Faheem remains committed to expanding his ministry.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.

Ordination and Ministry with Foursquare
In 2017, after much prayer and fasting, God gave Pastor Faheem a fresh vision: to serve as a Outreach Pastor and expand his ministry locally and globally. This led him to join Riverside Community Church and the Foursquare denomination in 2018.
On June 30, 2024, Pastor Faheem was ordained by Foursquare, reaffirming his calling to shepherd and evangelize. This joyful occasion was celebrated with his family, including his mother, who supported him wholeheartedly.
For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Vision for the Future
God has placed a clear vision on Pastor Faheem’s heart for the next stage of ministry:
1. Evangelism and Discipleship in the Middle East Establishing a ministry platform to reach unreached people groups.
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

2. Equipping Kingdom Ambassadors Training and sending mission teams from Foursquare churches globally, with a goal to disciple and send 10 families over the next five years.
To equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
(Ephesians 4:12)
3. Partnership and Networking Building alliances with ministries to maximize resources and impact.
